Last weekend my husband, Daniel, and I went on a fun and easy date night to Deep Ellum here in Dallas Texas. We spent our evening wandering the streets and visiting a really cute boho store, Jade + Clover. Then we went to our all time favorite taco spot, Revolver Taco (seriously, if you live in Dallas, you NEED to go!!!) and scarfed down the best tacos in town. After that, we topped off our night cuddling Marble, our rescue Pomeranian fluff ball and enjoyed a nice glass of wine. Oh, and of course caught up on a couple episodes of Stranger Things! Have you finished the second season?! SO GOOD! Can't wait for next year.
Side note: Daniel and I will be celebrating our third wedding anniversary on Wednesday. I can't believe it's been three years! Time has flown by and we have had the best, I mean the BEST, first few years of marriage. I know for a fact our marriage is a huge gift from God and I fully believe He will continue blessing it because He is our foundation and our guiding light. I know I say this a lot but I really am unbelievably grateful for the man that I married. He is truly my favorite person, in every way. I'm fiercely in love with him. We have our faults but 90% of the time, we are in pure bliss of each other. No one makes me laugh like he does. No one is easier to be around than him. People might not believe me but I speak from the depths of my truth when I say he is the best husband I could have ever dreamt of. He cooks (and is so talented at it), he cleans, he manages the bills, he plans for our future, he surprises me, he makes me laugh (did I mention this already?), he makes me feel like the most beautiful person inside and out, he challenges me, me encourages me, he prays for us, he cares for me (and Marble)... I could go on. I tell people the best way to describe him is that he has the BIGGEST servants heart and does everything in love. Not because he "has" to. He just does it. He simply does it. It's the craziest thing and I joke all the time that one day, he's going to resent me for all the things he does to take care of us, hahahaha. I'm mildly joking. *wink*
God has really blessed me and Daniel immensely. I could go on. One day I will. Maybe Wednesday, November 8th, 2017. Sorry for my tangent, friends.
I hope you enjoyed this little date night out and my fun, cozy, affordable autumn/fall look featuring my DIY distressed denim jeans, the coolest Forever 21 leopard slides (only $14!) and my new favorite purchase from Oddbird Co. This Turkish towel is EVERYTHING! So versatile, so bohemian, so modern, so cute.

I'm Alyssa, thanks for stopping by! A few things: I enjoy laughing, making youtube videos and thrift shopping. Currently listening to "Everything Now" by Arcade Fire. I like my coffee black and my preferred method of maxin' & relaxin' is with my husband and pup.
